We’ve sorted an amazing range of drinks for you to enjoy, while you soak up the charm of our traditional pub. Our very own range of Badger Beers are only sold in Hall & Woodhouse pubs, so we can guarantee the very best quality cask and bottled ales brewed right in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Alongside our beers we also have a comprehensive selection of lagers and ciders, together with a quality wine list, with wines from all around the world and an ever increasing range of spirits, particularly local and regional gins.

Badger Beer

It was deep in Dorset’s rolling hills and patchwork fields, in 1777, that local farmer Charles Hall brewed our first beer. A union of the Hall & Woodhouse families soon followed and the story of Badger beer had begun.

To create the distinctive character of our delicious Badger beers, we combine hops and malted barley with pure spring water which has been filtered naturally through the Cretaceous chalk downs of Dorset. Our comprehensive range of cask and bottled beers, all with distinctive characters, are available throughout the year, although our offering does vary seasonally.
